Role & Responsibilities
Preparing test samples and test setups
Performing mechanical tests on concrete and steel
Working with advanced compression and tensile testing machines (up to 120,000 kg load)
Accurately recording and reporting test results
Contributing ideas to customized research projects, including those for earthquake-prone areas
Receiving training and guidance to become a specialist in material testing and reporting
Strong technical affinity and interest in working hands-on with equipment
Experience in a laboratory, technical, or industrial environment is a plus
Interest in concrete, steel, or structural safety is preferred
Accurate, technically skilled, and digitally proficient
Team player with the ability to work independently
A forklift certificate is a plus
English-speaking candidates are welcome, provided they are based in the Netherlands within a realistic commuting distance and hold a valid work visa
